Every video production company in Scotland sounds exactly the same

Search for video production in Scotland and you’ll find page after page of showreels: beautiful visuals, powerful storytelling, get in touch for a quote. What none of those pages talk about is results. A video either brings in customers, saves your team time or builds the kind of trust that shortens a sale, or it just sits on your homepage looking expensive.

So this page works differently. Our films are on it, with what each one changed for the business that paid for it. Our prices are on it too. And if what you need isn’t something we’re good at, we’d rather tell you on the first call than find out on the shoot.

Where we film

From our base in Glasgow, we film for businesses all over Scotland.

In the last few years that’s meant product training films at Quarch Technology’s site in Aviemore, a monthly YouTube channel for Still Spirit, a whisky shop in rural Aberdeenshire, films for the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, architecture films in Livingston and East Kilbride, and a live self-build site in the Lake District, because the service area runs across Scotland and the North of England.

The travel maths is simple, and it’s public. Filming across the central belt is included in every fixed quote. Further afield, travel is priced into the quote up front, so there’s no mileage meter running and no surprise line on the invoice. If a shoot needs an overnight stay, accommodation is £100 a night per crew member, agreed before we book anything.

Quarch Technology — Product Training Training films made at Quarch’s Aviemore site in the Highlands, built so their customers can help themselves.
Threesixty Architecture — Glenmorangie Glenmorangie themselves vouch for Threesixty’s people-first design on camera, filmed on location in Livingston.
Traverse Theatre — Class Act The Traverse’s flagship schools project in Edinburgh: pupils, teachers and theatre-makers on camera.

Why it works

Why businesses across Scotland pick us

A video only pays for itself if it was built to do a job. Everything about how we work is set up for that.

  • Prices you can see Our prices are published, on this page and the pricing page. You’ll know what your film costs before we ever get on a call, and the fixed quote never grows mid-project.
  • Built for results We start with what the video is supposed to change: more enquiries, faster sales, fewer support calls. The film is measured against that, not against how cinematic it looks.
  • Our own senior team No handoffs, no account managers, no freelancers you’ve never met. The team you speak to on the first call, led by Jack, is the team on your shoot, whether that’s Glasgow or Aviemore.
  • Two-week delivery Your films are back within two weeks of filming, edited and ready to publish, with revisions included. No months of waiting while the edit sits in a queue.

How it works

Three steps, one filming day wherever you are, and very little of your team’s time.

01

Schedule a call

A free discovery call about your business and what the video needs to do. If video isn’t the right answer, we’ll say so.

02

We come to you

Script and plan agreed up front, then one filming day at your premises, site or event, anywhere in Scotland. We handle kit, questions and direction; your people just have to be themselves.

03

Edit and deliver

Your films are back within two weeks of filming, ready for your website, socials and sales conversations. Revisions are part of the process, not an extra.

Who does the work

The team on your call is the team on your shoot.

Your film is planned, directed and delivered by our own senior team, led by Jack and Josh, our video strategists. From the first call to filming day to the final edit, you deal with the people making your film, wherever in Scotland the shoot takes us.

Video production in Scotland FAQs

Do you cover the whole of Scotland?

Yes. We’re based in Glasgow and film wherever the work is: recent shoots include Aviemore in the Highlands, a whisky shop in rural Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh, Livingston and East Kilbride. The service area runs across Scotland and the North of England.

What does travel cost?

Across the central belt, nothing: it’s included in every fixed quote. Further afield, travel is priced into the quote up front, never metered, and if a shoot needs an overnight stay, accommodation is £100 a night per crew member, agreed before we book anything. The price we quote is the price on the invoice.

How much does video production cost in Scotland?

The same as it costs anywhere we work, because our prices are fixed and published: testimonial videos from £1,500, case study videos from £2,000, corporate video from £2,500, and the Pro Video Plan from £1,200 a month, all plus VAT. Our pricing page has the full detail.

Do I need a videographer or a video production company?

A videographer films what’s in front of them, and for events that’s often all you need. If the video has a business job to do, winning customers, explaining a service, training staff, you need scripting, direction and editing built around that job. That’s the difference you’re paying for.

Where does filming happen?

At your premises, your site or your event. Most business video is better for being shot where the work actually happens, and it saves your team a day of travelling. If a project genuinely needs studio space, we’ll arrange it as part of the quote.

How quickly can you film?

Once the plan and script are agreed, filming is usually a single day, and your finished films are back within two weeks of the shoot, wherever in Scotland we filmed. If you have a hard deadline, tell us on the first call and we’ll be straight about whether it’s doable.

Stop guessing what video costs

One call, a fixed price, and finished films within weeks, wherever in Scotland your business is. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you that too.
