Case Study Videos

Case Study Video Production

Your best project, made into your best salesperson.

Prospects don’t believe claims: they believe proof. A case study video takes a project you’re proud of and lets your client tell the story: the problem, the work, the result. So the next buyer can see exactly what working with you looks like, before they’ve even picked up the phone.

Your work is good. Your proof is invisible.

Every firm’s website says the same things. Trusted. Experienced. Quality-driven. Your prospects have read those words a hundred times, and they don’t believe any of them, not because your work isn’t good, but because claims aren’t proof.

Meanwhile, the project that would actually convince them, the one where you solved exactly their problem for a client exactly like them, is sitting finished, with nothing to show for it but a line in your portfolio.

That’s the gap a case study video closes. You stop telling people you’re good and start showing them.

Let the project do the selling

A case study video tells the story of one real project, from the people who lived it.

Your client explains the problem they had. The film shows the work. The result speaks for itself. No presenter, no sales pitch: just proof that your process works, told by someone your next buyer can relate to. We’ve made them for theatres, architects and house builders. Watch a few:

Traverse Theatre — Class Act The Traverse’s flagship schools project: pupils, teachers and theatre-makers on seeing young writers’ words performed by professional actors.
Econekt — Lake District Build Econekt’s team walk a live Lake District site, showing prospective self-builders exactly how they work through a complex build.
Threesixty Architecture — Glenmorangie Glenmorangie themselves vouch for Threesixty’s people-first design on camera: a household-name client doing the selling.
Threesixty Architecture — East Kilbride The film that helped win public and political backing for East Kilbride’s town-centre plans.

More in our portfolio. Looking for something shorter, where customers do the selling direct to camera? That’s a testimonial video, and we make those too.

Why it works

Why case study videos win clients

The film keeps working long after the shoot: on your website, in your proposals, in every sales conversation.

  • Your buyer sees themselves The featured client matters more than the camera work. Pick the client your ideal prospects resemble, and every viewer thinks: that’s us. That’s the choice that makes the film sell.
  • Borrowed credibility When a real client puts their name and face to your work, their word transfers to you. People believe people, not marketing copy.
  • Shows how you work Buyers watch the project unfold and understand your process before the first call. The conversations you have after are shorter, warmer, and further along.
  • One shoot, many uses The full film for your website, clips for social media and email, the whole thing in your proposals and pitches. One project, a year of material.

How we make a case study video

Case study videos are made with real people, not actors, so we build the whole process around making it easy for you and your client.

01

Story & planning

We dig into the project to find the story worth telling, then handle the logistics with your client: contributors, locations, scheduling, all planned around their working day.

02

Filming

Interview-led and documentary-style: no teleprompter, no rigid script. We ask the right questions and make people comfortable enough to answer honestly. That’s what makes the film feel real instead of staged.

03

Edit & delivery

We cut the story from the interviews and footage, add graphics where they clarify a point, and deliver in around two to three weeks. Revisions are included, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Who does the work

The person on the call is the person on the shoot.

Case study films are planned, directed and delivered by our own small team, led by Jack, our video strategist. No hand-offs, no account managers: the people who understand your story are the ones telling it.

What a case study video costs

From £2,000 + VAT, fixed

Most case study videos come in between £2,500 and £3,500. The price depends on filming days, locations and how many people appear, not on how long we take: bigger multi-day productions with several contributors sit nearer £5,000. Whatever the scope, the quote you get is the final price. No overruns, no surprise fees, revisions included.

Need more than one film? Shooting several videos in one day brings the per-video cost down: see our packages, or read the full breakdown of what video production costs.

Case study video FAQs

What is a case study video?

A short film, usually one to three minutes, that tells the story of a real project: the problem your client had, the work you did, and the result. It’s the video equivalent of a written case study, with one big difference: the client tells the story themselves, on camera.

Who makes case study videos?

Video production companies like us. Look for one that has actually made them (interviewing people who aren’t actors is its own skill) and ask to see examples with real clients, not showreels. Ours are above.

How long does one take to produce?

Around two to three weeks from kick-off to delivery, depending on contributor availability. Planning and scheduling with your client usually takes longer than the filming itself.

How much does a case study video cost?

From £2,000 + VAT, fixed. Most come in between £2,500 and £3,500, and bigger multi-day productions with several contributors sit nearer £5,000. The price depends on filming days, locations and how many people appear, and the quote you get is the final price: no surprise fees, revisions included.

Will our client have to perform?

No, and that’s the point. There’s no script to memorise and no teleprompter. We interview them about the project, they answer in their own words, and we build the story in the edit. Our job is to make them comfortable enough that the camera stops mattering.

Do you film outside Glasgow?

Yes. We’re based in Glasgow and film across Scotland and the North of England. Travel is priced into your fixed quote up front, not added on later.

Can we cut it into clips for social media?

Yes: one shoot gives you the full film plus short clips for LinkedIn, email and your socials. Tell us where you’ll use it and we’ll deliver the right formats.

Ready to stop being your industry’s best-kept secret?

Pick the project you’re proudest of, and we’ll handle the rest, including making your client comfortable on camera. Book a call and we’ll tell you honestly whether a case study video is the right fit.
