Steadyhand Productions is a small, independent agency of video experts. We love getting the opportunity to meet new people, explore their business and tell their story through video.
Steadyhand Productions was founded by two cousins, Jack and Josh. From a young age they played in bands together and scripted zero budget films. They had no idea how to turn this love of creativity and storytelling into a career but the plan was always to work together.
Jack studied and worked in TV & Film while Josh studied music and sound design. Although they worked separately for a few years they would always get together for a coffee and talk about their creative ideas and ask the others opinion. Over time it became obvious how they could work together and out of their love for creativity and storytelling, Steadyhand Productions was founded.
Now Steadyhand Productions is a leading video production company in Glasgow and operates as a team of talented video specialists.

Jack is an experienced and passionate filmmaker and since co-founding Steadyhand Productions he has worked with a wide variety of brands from Amazon to Loch Lomond Whisky.
In the office he bores everyone with camera talk and tries to persuade Josh that the company needs the latest and fanciest gadgets. He’s wearing him down.
Josh loves the technical side of filmmaking, taking on much of the editing, animation and motion graphics.
In the office Josh is known as a bit of a trend setter and has recently started the tradition of Mac n cheese Mondays. This all happened after discovering that the local deli sells a particularly tasty Mac n cheese! Now we’re all addicted.
Leon is an extremely talented video editor and he constantly strives to expand his skillset and hone his craft.
In the office Leon keeps everyone amused by telling the stories of his latest weekend adventures from the many gigs he attends to the failed camping trips.
The Steadyhand studio is dog friendly as everyone in the team is a dog owner. When we have a full house it can sometimes feel like we’re running a kennel! But it’s always good to have our friendly companions around the office to help keep us motivated especially during those tricky edits.
Attie is a ball of energy (did someone say ball!) who loves running around the park and playing with her dog friends. She’s a rescue from Romania but her English has gotten pretty good over the last year living in Scotland.
Miso is a new addition to the gang. She loves parading around the office and showing everyone her new toys. She is quite partial to a game of chase jumping around like a little lamb. Attie is also teaching her some bad habits.
Pattie is the most mature of the dogs at 42 years old (dog years of course). She is extremely laid back and quite happy to sit and chill in the studio. She keeps Miso and Attie entertained by sharing some of her wisdom over a tasty treat in the morning.
