How our pricing works

We price by the output: the finished films you receive, not the hours we spend making them.

Some agencies charge by the hour or the day. The problem with that is simple: you don’t know the final cost until the job is done, and every hiccup on the shoot becomes your bill. We agree the scope with you before filming, give you a fixed quote, and that number only changes if you change the brief.

No surprise fees. No awkward extras on the invoice. If you’d like the full breakdown of what drives video costs, we’ve written an honest guide to what video production costs.

What every package includes

The from-price is the whole job, not a base rate that grows arms and legs. Every package includes:

  • A strategy call and full pre-production: every video scripted and planned before the filming date
  • Our two-person crew with cameras, lighting and sound
  • A teleprompter and on-camera coaching, so you look and sound natural even if you’ve never been filmed before
  • The edit, with revisions included to get it right
  • Licensed music
  • Final films delivered in every format you need: website, socials, sales decks

What moves the price

Four things decide where you land in a range.

01

Filming days

The single biggest factor. One day covers most projects; films with several locations or contributors need more.

02

Locations

Every extra location adds setup time and travel.

03

Contributors

More people on camera means more scheduling, more filming and a longer edit.

04

The edit

Graphics, animation and multiple versions add editing days.

Travel across the central belt is included, from Glasgow to Edinburgh, and if a project takes us further across Scotland or down to Newcastle, travel goes into your fixed quote as its own line, agreed up front, not added on later. The occasional shoot that needs an overnight stay adds accommodation at £100 a night per crew member, agreed before anything is booked. Our films for Threesixty Architecture sat at the top of our case-study range for exactly these reasons: more filming, more contributors, a bigger production.

Getting more from your budget

The biggest saving in video production is batching. Setting up a crew for one video costs nearly as much as setting up for four, so filming several videos in one day cuts the cost of each one dramatically. A batch of website videos filmed in one day comes to around £3,000. Produced separately, the same films would cost £5,000 to £6,000.

The second saving is repurposing. One filming day can produce the main film plus short cuts for LinkedIn and Instagram, so plan the formats you need before the shoot, not after it.

Pricing FAQs

How much does video production cost in the UK?

Most professional business videos cost between £1,500 and £5,000, depending on filming days, locations and the complexity of the edit. Our videos start at £1,500 for a testimonial film, with most case study videos landing between £2,500 and £3,500.

Do you offer video packages for businesses?

Yes, that’s how we work. Every commercial video package is a fixed price covering planning, filming, editing and delivery, whether it’s a single film, a batch day of three or four videos, or monthly content on the Pro Video Plan. Packages start at £1,500 + VAT.

Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

By the project. We agree the scope, give you a fixed quote, and that’s the price you pay. Hourly billing puts all the risk on you; fixed pricing puts it on us, which is where it belongs.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The quote covers planning, filming, editing, music and delivery. Travel beyond the central belt, and accommodation on the occasional shoot that needs an overnight stay (£100 a night per crew member), appear as their own lines in the quote, agreed before anything is booked. Nothing gets added afterwards.

How much does a videographer cost per day?

Day rates vary hugely, and they rarely tell the whole story: kit, planning and editing usually sit on top. Within our fixed prices, a filming day accounts for around £1,000 of the cost, with scripting and editing making up the rest. That’s why we quote by the finished film instead of the day.

How long does a video project take?

Around two weeks from filming to finished film for most projects. Your time commitment is small: roughly an hour on camera, and we handle everything else.

How much does a corporate video cost?

Our corporate and brand films start at £2,500, with the final price depending on filming days, locations and how many people appear on camera. A single-day shoot with one or two contributors sits at the lower end.
