We work out which roles you’re actually struggling to fill and what’s putting the right people off. Sometimes the answer isn’t a video, and we’ll say so.
Recruitment Video Production
Show candidates what the job is actually like, so the right ones apply.
Employer brand films, employee stories and role-specific videos for firms that need to fill real jobs. Your own people on camera, in their own words, saying the things a job advert can never say. Fixed prices from £2,000 + VAT, and your films are back within two weeks of filming.

Don't just take our word for it
You write the advert, you put it out, and then you wait. What comes back is either not enough people or the wrong ones, and the role sits open for another two months while everyone else covers the work.
Everything that actually makes someone take a job is the stuff a job spec can’t hold. Who they’d sit beside. Whether the place is calm or frantic. Whether anyone there seems to enjoy it. Every firm’s advert claims to be collaborative and people-first, so yours reads exactly like the one below it.
Most recruitment video doesn’t fix that, because it’s the same advert with a drone shot. Candidates spot a staged film instantly, and the better the candidate, the faster they spot it. Honest beats glossy here every time.
Most firms need two or three of these, not all six. Which ones depends on whether you’re building a reputation as an employer over time, or you have one specific job you cannot fill.
The main film for your careers page. What your firm is actually like to work for, who you’re looking for, and who you’re honestly not.
One person, one job, their own words. The format we built fifteen films on for Fraunhofer, and still the most convincing thing you can put in front of a candidate.
The actual shape of a working day in a specific role. Especially useful when the job title means something different at every firm.
A film for one vacancy, usually the one you’ve re-advertised twice. Aimed at the small number of people who could genuinely do it.
Short vertical edits from the same shoot, sized for LinkedIn and for the job ads themselves, so the films reach people who aren’t looking at your careers page yet.
For people choosing a path rather than a job, who often have no idea your kind of work exists.
One filming day usually produces several of these. A careers page rarely needs one big film. It needs a few different voices, because the person deciding whether to join your finance team and the person deciding whether to join your workshop are not persuaded by the same thing.
Every person in the films below is a real employee, not an actor, and nobody was given a script to learn.
Two are from a series of fifteen films we’ve made for the Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics in Glasgow, a laser and photonics research centre and part of Fraunhofer, Europe’s largest application-oriented research organisation. The third is for Quarch Technology, who build automated test systems for data storage and networking from their site in Aviemore.
Fraunhofer’s fifteen films do two jobs at once: showing prospective recruits the people behind the centre, and putting the research itself in front of industry. The videos outperform every other kind of post on Fraunhofer’s LinkedIn, text and images included, and the series has kept growing since the first shoot.
Quarch has a different problem. Aviemore is a long way from anywhere, so a specialist engineering firm in the Cairngorms isn’t asking people to change job. It’s asking them to move their life. No job advert is going to carry that. Seeing the team, the workshop and the place does far more of the persuading.
The hard part of a recruitment video isn’t the camera. It’s getting real people to say something true, on a working day, without it costing the business a fortnight.
One client, fifteen films, and a series that has kept growing because it works.
Three steps, one filming day, and as little of your team’s time as we can manage.
We work out which roles you’re actually struggling to fill and what’s putting the right people off. Sometimes the answer isn’t a video, and we’ll say so.
We plan it with you, then film in one day at your place, around your team’s real schedule. Most people need about an hour on camera, and we’re good with people who’d rather be anywhere else.
Your finished films and cutdowns, back within two weeks of filming, ready for your careers page, your job ads and LinkedIn.
That’s a price for a finished film, agreed before anything is booked, not a day rate that moves once you’re committed. Most recruitment work is a batch: one filming day, several films, one price agreed at the start. Travel beyond the central belt is its own line in the quote.
Hardly anyone in this industry publishes a number, which is its own kind of answer. Ours are on our pricing page. If you need films every month rather than a one-off hiring push, the Pro Video Plan starts from £1,200 + VAT a month.
A film made to help you hire: showing candidates what your firm is like to work for, what a particular role actually involves, and who already does it. It usually lives on your careers page, in your job adverts and on LinkedIn. The useful ones are built around real employees talking about their own jobs, rather than a company film with the word “careers” on the end.
Mostly timescale. An employer brand film is the long game: it builds a reputation as a place worth working, and it’s still doing that job in two years. A recruitment video is often tied to a specific vacancy or a specific hiring push. Most firms start with one employer brand film and a couple of employee stories, then add role-specific films when a particular job proves hard to fill.
From £2,000 + VAT for a finished film, agreed before we book anything. Most recruitment projects are a batch of films from a single filming day, which brings the cost per film down. Travel beyond the central belt is quoted as its own line. See our pricing page for the full list.
No, and we’d rather they didn’t. Nobody learns a script. We have a short call beforehand so people know roughly what we’ll ask, then we ask questions and let them answer in their own words. People who describe themselves as terrible on camera are usually the most convincing in the finished film, because they’re clearly not performing.
About an hour each for the people on camera, plus a short planning call with whoever’s running the hiring. We film in one day at your premises and work round shifts and meetings. We do this in working research centres and offices where the work cannot stop, so the disruption is genuinely small.
Look at whether the applications you get are better matched, not just whether there are more of them, since the point of an honest film is that some people rule themselves out. Watch how long people spend on your careers page once the film is on it, and ask at interview whether they saw it. We’d rather tell you to measure it properly than quote you an industry statistic, because the figures that circulate about recruitment video mostly can’t be traced back to anyone who actually measured anything.
Tell us what you’re hiring for and we’ll tell you whether video helps, and what it would cost. If it won’t help, we’ll say so on the call.
