A video without a job to do is just an expense

Plenty of Newcastle businesses already have a video: a nice brand film, well shot, sitting on the homepage. Ask what it’s actually brought in and things go quiet. That’s not a production problem, it’s a purpose problem. The film was made to look good, and it does, and that’s all it does.

Meanwhile everything else works harder than it should. Your marketing has to explain what a buyer could simply watch. Every sales call starts cold, covering the same ground again. And prospects who can’t see the people behind your business judge you on the only thing left: price.

The fix isn’t “a video”. It’s the right videos, each with a job: one that builds trust before the first call, one that proves your results, one that answers the questions that stall a sale. That’s the work we do before anyone picks up a camera, and if what you need isn’t something we’re good at, we’d rather say so on the first call.

Filming in Newcastle and the North East

We film for businesses across Newcastle and the North East: offices, sites, factories, stages and events.

Here’s how it works with us. Everything is planned and scripted with you before anyone picks up a camera, and that part happens on calls, so it costs your team nothing but an hour or so. Then we come to you, usually for a single filming day at your premises or on location. For a Newcastle shoot we’ll normally travel down the night before, so the crew arrives fresh and set-up starts on time. The travel and the overnight go into your fixed quote as their own lines, agreed before anything is booked, and the films are back within two weeks of filming.

The films below were all shot away from home: Wigan, the Lake District, the Highlands.

Amazon — Brick by Brick Amazon’s Brick by Brick event, filmed in Wigan, with John Boumphrey, Amazon’s UK country manager.
Econekt — Lake District Build Econekt’s team walk a live Lake District site. A working build, filmed properly, a long way from Glasgow.
Quarch Technology — Product Training Product training filmed at Quarch’s base in Aviemore, in the Highlands. These videos save their support team hours every week.

More in our portfolio. We also film across Scotland.

Why it works

Why businesses pick us for video production in Newcastle

A video only pays for itself if it was built to do a job. Everything about how we work is set up for that.

  • Prices you can see Our prices are published, on this page and the pricing page. You’ll know what your film costs before we ever get on a call, and the fixed quote never grows mid-project.
  • Built for results We start with what the video is supposed to change: more enquiries, faster sales, fewer support calls. The film is measured against that, not against how cinematic it looks.
  • Our own senior team No handoffs, no account managers, no freelancers you’ve never met. The team you speak to on the first call, led by Jack, is the team at your Newcastle premises on filming day.
  • Two-week delivery Your films are back within two weeks of filming, edited and ready to publish, with revisions included. No months of waiting while the edit sits in a queue.

How it works

Three steps, one filming day in Newcastle, and very little of your team’s time.

01

Schedule a call

A free discovery call about your business and what the video needs to do. If video isn’t the right answer, we’ll say so.

02

We come to you

Script and plan agreed up front, then one filming day at your Newcastle premises, site or event. We handle kit, questions and direction; your people just have to be themselves.

03

Edit and deliver

Your films are back within two weeks of filming, ready for your website, socials and sales conversations. Revisions are part of the process, not an extra.

Who does the work

The team on your call is the team on your shoot.

Your film is planned, directed and delivered by our own senior team, led by Jack and Josh, our video strategists. From the first call to filming day in Newcastle to the final edit, you deal with the people making your film.

What video production costs in Newcastle

Fixed prices, agreed before we film

We price by the finished film, not the day: testimonial videos from £1,500, case study videos from £2,000, corporate video from £2,500, all + VAT, with travel to Newcastle priced into the quote up front.

Video production in Newcastle FAQs

Do you charge extra to film in Newcastle?

Not as a surprise, no. Newcastle sits beyond our central belt patch, so travel goes into your quote as its own line: you’ll see exactly what it costs and agree it before anything is booked. If the shoot needs an overnight stay, accommodation goes in the same way, at £100 a night per crew member. Because it’s all part of the fixed quote, nothing gets added afterwards: no mileage, nothing metered.

How does filming in Newcastle work when you’re based in Glasgow?

More smoothly than you’d think, because most of the work doesn’t need us in the room. Planning and scripting happen on calls. Then there’s one filming day at your premises, and for Newcastle we’ll usually travel down the night before so the day starts on time. We’ve filmed in Manchester as a day trip before now, so a single Newcastle day is doable when the schedule suits. Either way, your films are back within two weeks of filming.

How much does video production cost in Newcastle?

The same as it costs anywhere we work, because our prices are fixed and published: testimonial videos from £1,500, case study videos from £2,000, corporate video from £2,500, and the Pro Video Plan from £1,200 a month, all plus VAT. Our pricing page has the full detail.

Do I need a videographer or a video production company?

A videographer films what’s in front of them, and for some jobs that’s all you need. If the video has a business job to do, winning customers, explaining a service, training staff, you need scripting, direction and editing built around that job. That’s the difference you’re paying for.

Can you film events in Newcastle?

Yes. Conferences, launches, award nights and internal events, filmed and cut into films you can use long after the day itself. See our event video production service for how that works.

How quickly can you film?

Once the plan and script are agreed, filming is usually a single day, and your finished films are back within two weeks of the shoot. If you have a hard deadline, tell us on the first call and we’ll be straight about whether it’s doable.

You’ve been putting the video off

One call, a fixed price, and films at your Newcastle business within weeks. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you that too.
