Most business podcasts get recorded. Very few get run.

Starting a podcast is the easy part. Book a studio, sit down with a guest, talk for an hour. The recording sounds great. Then it goes up on Spotify, a few colleagues listen, and three months later the show has quietly stopped, because nobody owned what happens after someone says “and that’s a wrap”.

A recording isn’t a podcast that works. A podcast that works has a job: the people you want to win work from find it, watch enough to trust you, and get in touch. That takes a plan for who it’s for, packaging that earns the click, clips that put it in front of people who’d never search for it, and a way of knowing which episode started which conversation.

You’re already having the conversations: with clients, with peers, with people whose opinions your buyers respect. We turn them into a show that keeps working long after the cameras are off.

The podcast, and the channels behind it

Video podcasts are a newer part of what we make. The skills behind them aren’t: we run long-form YouTube channels for clients every week, and a good podcast is a long-form YouTube show with two chairs instead of one.

Maria Vino: in conversation with a client A three-camera conversation between relationship coach Maria Vino and one of her clients. We filmed and edited it, and it shows the format at its best: two people, one honest conversation, nothing staged.
Still Spirit: monthly YouTube episode One of two long-form episodes we make for Still Spirit every month. The channel monetised in under 20 uploads and has passed 600k views.
Mostyn Wilson: weekly leadership episode Leadership lessons from a former KPMG partner. A new long-form episode every week, on a rhythm we keep running. Read the full story.
Jack Hand: from Jack’s own channel We run our own long-form channel too, and test every format on ourselves before it goes anywhere near a client.

Still Spirit’s and Mostyn’s videos aren’t podcasts, and we won’t pretend they are. They’re the proof that matters most here: shows we plan, make, package and publish every month, and the reason a podcast with us is built to grow on YouTube, not just to exist on it.

Your place or a studio

Wherever suits you and your guests. We bring the cameras, lights and sound either way.

At your place

Your office, your boardroom, a client’s site. Guests come to you, the setting says something about your business, and there’s nothing to book. We set up three cameras in a meeting room and leave it as we found it.

In a studio

When the office won’t work (too noisy, too small, or you’d rather a neutral room), we book a studio and run the day. You turn up, sit down and talk.

Filming days run across Scotland and the North of England. Travel beyond the central belt goes into your quote as its own visible line, agreed before we start.

What you're paying for

A show, not a recording

Recording is one day a month. Everything that makes the podcast earn its keep happens around it, and that’s the part we own.

  • Built to be found on YouTube Titles and thumbnails are decided before we record, by the team that runs Still Spirit’s and Mostyn’s channels. YouTube is where people search, so that’s where the show is built to be found.
  • Every episode becomes clips Each episode gets cut into short clips for LinkedIn, where your buyers already are, and for YouTube Shorts. Every clip points back to the full conversation.
  • Tracked to enquiries, not downloads Every episode carries its own tracked link, so each month you see which episodes brought visits, calls and enquiries. Here’s how we track leads from YouTube.
  • Guests handled properly We plan the questions with you, brief your guests, and put everyone at ease on the day. Most people have never sat in front of three cameras. By the second question, they’ve forgotten about them.

How it works

One filming day a month, and as little of your time as we can manage.

01

Plan the show

We work out who it’s for and what it should lead to, then plan the format, the first episodes and who to invite on.

02

Record

One filming day with three cameras, at your place or a studio. Two episodes is the sweet spot: any more and hosts and guests start to tire. Some people happily do three or four.

03

Publish and track

We edit the episodes, cut the clips, make the thumbnails and publish, then report each month on which episodes brought in enquiries.

Who does the work

The people who run channels run your show.

Your podcast is planned, filmed and published by our own senior team, led by Jack, who runs his own YouTube channel the same way. No handoffs, no juniors learning on your show.

What it costs

From £1,500 + VAT a month

That’s two episodes a month, filmed by us at your place or a studio, with the editing, clips, thumbnails, publishing and a monthly report on what each episode brought in. No lock-in: pause, change or cancel.

It runs as our Pro Video Plan, and every price we charge is published on our pricing page.

Video podcast FAQs

How much does video podcast production cost?

With us, from £1,500 + VAT a month for two episodes filmed by us, edited, clipped and published. A studio that charges by the hour is cheaper for a single recording, but you’re buying a room and a recording. A monthly plan is for when you want somebody to own the whole show, including whether it brings in work.

Can you record the podcast at our office?

Yes, and it’s often the best option. Guests come to you, there’s nothing to book, and the setting tells viewers something about your business. We need a reasonably quiet room; we bring everything else.

Do we need a studio?

No. If your office won’t work, we’ll book a studio and run the day. Either way it’s three cameras, proper lighting and proper sound.

How much of our time does it take?

One filming day a month for the host, plus a short planning call before it. We handle guest briefings, the edit, clips, thumbnails and publishing. You approve the episodes and turn up to talk.

Who should we invite on as guests?

The people your buyers would like to hear from: your clients, partners, and respected voices in your industry. A conversation with a happy client is a case study your buyers will actually sit through.

How do we know if the podcast is working?

By enquiries, not downloads. Every episode carries its own tracked link, so each month you see which episodes brought people to your website and which led to calls. Views and subscribers matter, but only as a route to the people who might buy from you.

You’re already having the conversations. Start getting the credit for them.

Book a call and we’ll work out who your show is for, what it should lead to, and what the first two episodes should be.
